With a chill in the air and the twinkling of NabrHood Christmas lights, the holiday season has officially arrived! Over 150 residents gathered to welcome in the festive season with their Nabrs, enjoy holiday crafts and take pictures with the guest of honor, Santa Claus.
Kiddos had a wonderful time at the arts and craft station where they colored Christmas masks and “baked” cookies by selecting their favorite holiday cookie cutter, rolling out green Play-Doh and creating holiday shaped “cookies” to put on the pan. As the sun set, Nabrs of all ages hopped aboard the holiday train for a ride throughout the NabrHood to admire the colorful Christmas lights and decoration displays. To keep warm there was a hot cocoa bar where residents could create their own cocoa concoctions with marshmallows, caramel, peppermint and sprinkles. A big thank you to the Lake Travis Fire Department for their special appearance at the event!
Thank you to everyone who came out to kick off the holiday season. We look forward to seeing everyone in the new year, until then…….
Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
