Christmas Magic, Saturday, December 11th, 2021

Recap

With temperatures finally feeling like winter, the NabrHood of Rocky Creek was ready to welcome in the holiday season! Over 150 residents gathered on a chilly Saturday afternoon to enjoy holiday music, take part in festive activities and meet the guest of honor, Santa Claus.

With Aaron Lack and his Steel Pan Band playing holiday classics, the stage was set for fun. Kids had a great time at the arts and crafts station where they wrote thank you letters to Santa, decorated Christmas ornaments and let their imaginations run free at the Play Doh station. At the hot chocolate bar, residents had the opportunity to create their own unique cocoa concoctions with caramel, peppermint, cinnamon and sprinkles along with enjoying tasty holiday cookies.

In front of a festive background, Santa took pictures with residents as they told him what they hoped for under the tree this year and he even got to read some of the thank you notes the children wrote for him. The members of the Lake Travis Fire Rescue team even joined in on the festivities and met with residents, showing off their bright red fire engine and giving tours of their truck.

It was a great way to get in the holiday spirit! We can’t wait to see everyone in the New Year, until then….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
