Fall Fest, Sunday, October 10th, 2021

Recap

Over 150 residents gathered on Sunday afternoon to celebrate the change of seasons at Rocky Creek’s Fall Fest. While the weather didn’t get the memo that fall was in the air, it was still a gorgeous day with a beautiful blue sky, white puffy clouds and warm temperatures. The afternoon had something for everyone including live music, fun games and most importantly great company.

With the Blevins band providing the perfect backdrop with their upbeat music, the tone was set for fun! Kids had a great time in the Kids Zone where they took part in activities such as Bounce in the Bucket, a Hula Hoop Challenge and competed to be the last one sitting in musical chairs.  They also had the opportunity to get up close and personal with some cute animals including chickens, goats and bunnies and even had the chance to ride ponies. In addition to petting animals, there were also face painters on hand who turned kids into tigers, butterflies and more!

Adults had a wonderful time catching up with Nabrs while sipping on refreshing beverages courtesy of Family Business Beer, East Austin Cider and Greenbelt Kombucha. Residents brought out their competitive sides for the Bounce in the Bucket Challenge where they competed for gift cards. To keep cool, Southern Snow was on hand serving up refreshing snow cones for all to enjoy. The event culminated with Leo’s Dance Party where kids and adults alike had the opportunity to show off their amazing dance skills. Thank you to all who came out to make it a fantastic afternoon!

We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, December 11th for Christmas with Santa, until then….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
