The residents of Rocky Creek gathered on a toasty Friday evening for a Cinco de Mayo Celebration. It was a great evening filled with fun activities, tasty food, yummy drinks and most importantly great company!
While it was a hot and sunny evening, residents kept cool poolside and under the shade of the pavilion, while enjoying hand crafted margaritas along with refreshing beers. Adults took part in Cinco de Mayo Trivia which ended in a tie, resulting in a sombrero hat race to determine the winner. Kids played “Guess Which One” and put their batting skills to the test to see who could crack open the piñata first and discover the treasures inside!
For those who worked up an appetite, Renewal by Andersen provided free tamales for all to enjoy. Lesley led residents in fun dances such as the Congo Line, Maraca Dance Off and the Hat Dance Party. It was truly a great way to start off the weekend!
We appreciate everyone who came out to make this event a blast and look forward to seeing ya’ll on Sunday, August 6th for the End of Summer Pool Party, until then…..
