Residents of the Rocky Creek NabrHood gathered at the pool on Sunday afternoon to try and beat the heat. Both kids and adults stayed cool in the sparkling waters of the pool while playing fun games and catching up with Nabrs, it was the perfect way to end the weekend and ring in the new school year!
With hot hits playing in the background and bubbles filling the air, kiddos had a great time taking part in pool activities such as sharks & minnows, relay races and a treasure hunt. Kids got ready for back to school with the Backpack Challenge, Ready for the School Bus race and “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader” trivia game. For those who worked up an appetite, there was tasty pizza from Craig O’s Pizza and refreshing snow cones by Southern Snow. The event culminated in an epic water balloon toss and dance party which had everyone on their feet. Thank you to all who came out to make this event such a blast including Lindsey from CertaPro who passed out cold beverages to keep Nabrs cool and Teri with Energy One Windows who gave away gift cards to nine lucky residents. We truly appreciate your businesses supporting the local community!
