Christmas Celebration, December 7, 2019

Over 200 residents gathered on a beautiful Saturday afternoon to welcome in the holiday season with their Nabrs, enjoy festive crafts and meet the guests of honor, Mr. and Mrs. Claus!

There were a number of fun activities to participate in including writing thank you letters to leave with their milk and cookies for Santa, a cookie “baking” station where kiddos created festive cookies from Play-Doh, holiday hayrides throughout the NabrHood and a puppet show! At the hot chocolate bar, sponsored by Manchaca Village Vet, residents had a great time creating their own unique cocoa concoctions with caramel, peppermint, cinnamon and sprinkles along with enjoying delicious holiday cookies. Outside, there were yummy gooey s’mores provided by the Cubs Scouts and adults sipped on tasty holiday cocktails courtesy of Jennifer Odom. Nabrs continued the tradition of having their pictures taken with Mr. and Mrs. Claus and telling them what they hoped for under the tree this year. It was a great way to get in the holiday spirit!
