Even though temps hit triple digits on Saturday, the heat didn’t stop residents from coming out to take part in Shady Hollow’s S.H.A.V.E. Celebration! Over 200 Nabrs gathered at the community center to enjoy delicious food, spend time with family and friends and of course have lots of fun.
To beat the heat Jennifer Odom Realty served up refreshing cocktails, Steve with Two Wheel Brewing hosted a free microbrew tasting featuring 3 tasty summer microbrews and Austin Scoops had cold treats for purchase. Kids could be found bouncing on a trampoline provided by Springfree Trampoline and then cooling down on a gigantic waterslide. Both kids and adults participated in a water balloon fight where the winner won free pest control services from Domain Pest Control. Everyone enjoyed listening to the cool beats of Durawa Trio while sitting under the generous shade of the trees.
It was so much fun that residents continued the party well into the evening! We look forward to seeing everyone at the next event, until then…..
