Residents gathered on a warm Wednesday afternoon at the amenity center for some midweek Easter fun. There was so much to see and do - not to mention yummy Easter treats to be eaten!
The guest of honor was none other than the Easter Bunny himself! With floppy ears, a cute button nose and a fluffy tail, kids were able to take pictures with him in front of a festive spring backdrop. He also brought along some of his furry, and feathery, friends including goats, ducks, puppies and bunnies for the kids to get to know. They had the opportunity to pet, and even cuddle, some of the cute animals.
Over 150 kids took part in the much anticipated main event, the Easter Egg Hunt, where they collected eggs and traded them in for goodies bags full of treats! Speaking of treats, Manchaca Village Vet handed out delicious cookies and juice boxes and Jennifer Odom provided tasty strawberry mimosas for adults to enjoy. With all the cookies and candy being eaten, kids had a lot of energy to burn off which was perfect since there was a bounce house to jump in, egg tosses to partake in and an interactive dance party where Isabella and Mary got everyone hyped to show off their dance moves.
It was an afternoon filled with lots of smiles, laughs and fun. Thank you to all who came out, we can’t wait to see you on July 3rd for the July 4th Pool Party! Until then….
