Concert in the Park, June 23, 2018

It was a hot summer night in most places the other night, but if you were at the Silverado Ranch Concert, you had it made in the shade.  With the band under the Park Gazebo and the residents scattered about under the shade it made for a perfect night.  Residents got to enjoy the Caribbean sounds of the Aaron Lack Steel Pan Trio.  While the band played, residents enjoyed one of the best food trucks in Austin; Shishman Kebob.  It was also easy to cool down with Tropical Snow Snow Cone Tent.

While some people took advantage of the pool and the residents visited with each other, the HelloNabr team kept the kids entertained with a Bubble Machine, the Saucer Tosser game, Name that tune, Hula Hoop contests and Hula Hoop relays.  They also did a couple of scavenger hunts and topped it all off with some fun relay races.  During the entire event the kids could also take advantage of the Face Painting provided by our business partners at Renewal By Andersen.

As if all that wasn't enough, we also had fun doing a water balloon toss contest.  There were over 20 teams that participated.  We are pretty sure everyone slept pretty good that night.  We appreciated everyone coming out and building community, while having fun.  We look forward to the next event in the near future.  In the meantime, just remember.....
