Chili Cook-Off, February 29, 2020

What a beautiful day in the Silverado West NabrHood! With spring-like temperatures and the sun shining, 85 residents gathered at the park to enjoy a gorgeous Saturday afternoon, play fun games and connect with their Nabrs.

The highlight of the event was the delicious chili cook-off where 3 residents battled it out to see who would be crowned chili champ! There were tasty entries courtesy of Sargon, Shawn, and The Woodwards. Walking away with the title (and $50!) was Sargon with second place going to The Woodwards and Shawn laying claim to third place. Thank you to all of the participants – everyone enjoyed the scrumptious chili!!

With oldie but goodie rock hits playing in the background, Nabrs took time to catch up with friends and meet some new Nabrs while enjoying refreshing local Texas craft beer by Rentsch Brewery. Kids had fun taking part in a hula-hoop contest, rounds of hot potato, classic board games and jumping around on a trampoline provided by Springfree Trampoline. Thank you to everyone who came out to build community in their NabrHood!

We look forward to seeing everyone at the Concert in the Park on April 18^th, until then…..
