Even with misty rain and cloudy skies, over 250 residents came out to ring in the holiday season in the Silverado West NabrHood! It was an amazing event which featured live music, fun activities and great company.
With Lewis Christian playing holiday classics, the stage was set for fun. Kids had a great time at the arts and crafts station where they wrote thank you cards for Santa and played fun Christmas games including reindeer games, Christmas trivia and relay races.
Residents enjoyed creating unique hot cocoa concoctions with caramel, peppermint, cinnamon and sprinkles along with tasty holiday cookies at the hot chocolate bar. Of course no holiday event would be complete with a special visitor from the North Pole. Santa met with kiddos, hearing what they hoped for under the tree and took pictures with them and their families.
Thank you to everyone who came out to make this event so much fun! We look forward to seeing everyone in the New Year for more exciting events, until then…..
