Forty residents took part in Somerville’s inaugural Pool Party! It was a perfect day to spend time cooling down in the water, relaxing in the shade and getting to know your Nabrs.
Kids could be found splashing around and playing games in the pool. There was spectacular football catches being made, mean hula-hoop skills on display and precise aiming in pool ring toss. Adults had a shaded front row seat to all the action while catching up with their Nabrs with free pizza and cold drinks in hand. As the day progressed a water balloon toss, and even a water balloon fight, broke out and no one was immune to a little water coming their way!
The fun culminated with kids gathering in the splash pad pool for “Dancin’ on the Water” to summer hits spun by DJ Will. A big thank you to Tasha, Somerville's HOA manager, who made this event possible. We look forward to many more! Until then…..
