Concert in the Park, Thursday, June 9th, 2022

Recap

On a toasty Thursday evening, over 100 residents gathered to listen to live music, partake in some delicious food and catch up with their Nabrs. While it was nearing 100 degrees during the day, the temps started to cool down just as the fun was heating up the night at Springfield’s first ever Concert in the Park.

The event had something for everyone. For live music fans, the band, Blevins, played their signature upbeat tunes for all to enjoy. Kids had a wonderful time playing in Leo’s Kids Zone where they took part in a variety of activities including showing off their Hula Hoop skills, playing with the giant parachute and chasing around bubbles. Adults had a great time catching up with their Nabrs over refreshing craft beer courtesy of Family Business Brewing under the South Austin Beer Garden shaded area. For those who worked up an appetite there was tasty food served up by Sophie’s Food Truck to fill up on. A big thank you to Renewal By Andersen for providing yummy popsicles and ice cream bars to help keep everyone cool.

We appreciate everyone who came out to make this event a blast! We look forward to seeing you on July 2nd for the Independence Day Celebration, until then….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
