Christmas Magic, December 1, 2019

Recap

With a chill in the air, December has officially arrived! Over 225 residents gathered on a beautiful Sunday afternoon to welcome in the holiday season with their Nabrs, enjoy holiday crafts and meet the guest of honor, Santa Claus.

While Santa was the guest of honor, there were other VIPs in attendance – firefighters from the Liberty Hill Fire Department! Nabrs had a great time meeting with the firefighters and kiddos enjoyed getting to see their bright red fire engine. A big thank you to the fire department for spending time getting to know the residents of the Summerlyn POA!

There were fun holiday activities to participate in including writing thank you letters to Santa Claus, making Christmas masks at the art station and enjoying a hot cocoa bar where residents created their own cocoa concoctions with marshmallows, caramel, peppermint and sprinkles along with festive holiday cookies. Everyone loved meeting Santa and getting their pictures taken with him in front of a festive background. There were a few babies who didn’t quite know what to make of Mr. Claus, which made for some cherished (and funny!) pictures for years to come!

Thank you to everyone who came out to kick off the holiday season! We look forward to seeing everyone in the new year, until then…….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
