National Night Out, October 4, 2019

Recap

Over 100 residents braved the heat and gathered at the park on Friday evening to take part in National Night Out. It was a night full of fun, food, family and friends!

Bag Lady set the tone for a good time with their upbeat rock n’ roll music. There was so much for residents to do including a marshmallow toss (congrats to the winners - Nadia and Phoebe!), a giant bounce house for kids to jump in, face painting courtesy of Renewal by Andersen and a free microbrew tasting for adults featuring 4 types of Rentsch Brewery beers. For those who worked up an appetite, Red, White and QUE food truck was on hand serving up their delicious BBQ. A big thank you to the special guests of the evening, first responders from the Leander police, fire and EMS departments.

It was a wonderful way to kick off the weekend and build community in the NabrHood! We look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday, December 1st for Christmas Magic, until then…

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
