Over 85 residents gathered at the park to say good-bye to the workweek and hello to the weekend! With beautiful weather, great music, cold drinks and fun games, it was the perfect way to spend a Thursday afternoon.
Adults, kids and their furry friends all came out to relax and kick off the weekend right. Kiddos enjoyed snow cones from Tropical Sno while adults sipped on tasty drinks including a handcrafted Green Apple Irish Bomb and local microbrews from Rentsch Brewery. Nabrs could be found mixing and mingling, catching up with old friends and making new ones!
The highlight of the evening was the bug hunt where kids raced all over the park trying to find the coolest bug. There was friendly competition amongst the adults as they played classic board games including Checkers, Don't Break the Ice and Guess Who? at the picnic tables. The fun wrapped up with residents creating handmade bird feeders to hang up in their yards.
