Fall Fest, November 13th, 2021

Recap

Residents gathered at the park on Saturday to welcome in the fall season. With warm Texas fall temps, sunny skies and blue clouds, it was a great day to spend with family and friends. The event had something for everyone including live music, fun activities and most importantly great company.

On the Armadillo Den Sound Stage, the Blevins band provided the perfect backdrop with their rockin’ tunes. With music and bubbles filling the air, the tone was set for fun! Kids had a great time in Leo’s Kids Zone taking part in musical chairs, showing off their skills in the Hula Hoop challenge, tossing around the Frisbee and playing cornhole. The hit of the event was the delicious chili cooked up by the Joswick family. They can officially lay claim to the title of Tanglewood Oaks Chili Champs!

Nabrs had a wonderful time catching up while sipping on refreshing local craft beer courtesy of Bear King Brewing and tasty kombucha by Greenbelt Kombucha. Local author, Maya Duff, was signing copies of her children’s book, Snow in Our Potties, Manchaca Village Vet was on hand giving away cool swag and Baylor, Scott & White held a raffle for residents to win. To round out the event, Leo led everyone in one of his signature dance parties! Thank you to everyone who came out to make it such a fun event.

We look forward to seeing you at future events, until then…..

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
