Halloween Party, October 28, 2018

Recap

Sunday's weather could not have been more beautiful for the 2nd annual Halloween Fest. With over 250 Nabrs in attendance, everywhere you looked there were ghosts, pumpkins, princesses, and superheroes running around!

With D Jammer spinning Halloween hits, the mood was set for fun. Kids lined up for spooky (and non-spooky!) designs by face painter Maria and got set for the costume parade where they showed off their cool costumes. Afterwards, they had the opportunity to play with some cute barnyard animals at the petting zoo and take pony rides. The fun didn’t stop there! Boys and girls vied for the chance to become musical chair champ and participated in a cakewalk where they hoped to win delicious cakes provided by Jennifer Odom.

There were free refreshing fall beers provided by Adelbert’s Brewing and Big Bend Brewing along with flavored Waterloo Sparkling Water to enjoy. For those who worked up an appetite, Red, White and QUE's food truck had tasty BBQ and Tropical Snow offered up yummy snow cones. Only in Texas is it still warm enough for snow cones in October!

As the sun began to fade, the ghouls came out to dance at the Killer Thriller Dance Party led by Leo. It was the perfect end to a “spooktacular” day!

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
