Recap
Decked out in patriotic red, white and blue, over 125 residents came out to celebrate Independence Day despite the afternoon rain!
Residents waited out the rain by grabbing some free pizza in the amenity center. Once the sprinkling stopped, Nabrs made their way out to the pool area for some fun in the water. Games were orchestrated by our teammate, Micky, including a "Hold Your Breath" competition, swimming races and an obstacle relay race. Kids then shared their favorite thing about the 4th of July to receive a sweet treat.
Friendly competition was on display as residents took part in the watermelon eating contest. Congratulations to Theo for winning the 4 to 6-year-old age group, Thor for winning the 7 to 10-year-old group, Evelyn for the 11+ and Brent & Whitney for tieing in the adult division. Thank you to all who participated in the events!
It was a wonderful day that brought to light what community is all about and we look forward to seeing everyone on Friday, August 2nd for the Teen Night Back to School Pool Party. Until then…..
Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
