Over 180 residents gathered at the amenity center to enjoy picture perfect weather, listen to live music, partake in some delicious food and catch up with their Nabrs at VOSH’s Concert in the Park. It was a fantastic way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
The event had something for everyone. For live music fans, Wyatt Weaver Band, presented by Armadillo Den, played their signature Texas Southern Rock N Roll and had everyone rockin’! Kids had a wonderful time competing in the Toe Sack Relay Race, seeing which kiddo was the last one sitting in musical chairs and taking part in spring activities including Butterfly Catcher and Bug Finder. The hit of the Kids Zone was the ever-popular parachute game. Adults even got in on the action by competing in the Pantyhose Bowling Challenge, which had everyone in stitches! Shout out to Camp Gladiator as they kept everyone cool by providing water to all and to Baylor, Scott & White for passing out Slinkys and keeping everyone entertained with the classic game of Operation.
Residents had a great time catching up with their Nabrs over refreshing brews courtesy of Freetail Brewing, enjoyed in the South Austin Beer Garden. For those who worked up an appetite there was tasty food served up by Rooster’s food truck and delicious ice cream to enjoy from the Good Times Ice Cream dessert truck. The evening ended with Leo’s Dance Party, with co-dancer Leslie, where kids and adults alike showed off their dance moves. A big thanks to Brenda, the HOA and everyone who came out to make this event a blast!
