4th of July Celebration, July 4, 2019

Recap

Over 150 residents came out to celebrate Independence Day on a beautiful and sunny July 4th!

A bicycle parade, led by the Sam Bass Fire Department, kicked off the festivities. Bikes were decked out with red, white and blue, participants rocked the stars and stripes from their shirts to their socks and American flags were proudly waving. Patriotism was definitely in the air!

Once the parade concluded, everyone headed back to the pool to continue the fun. With July 4th themed music spun by DJ Kevin, Nabrs enjoyed tasty hot dogs from The Dog Pound food truck and yummy cookies served up by residents in the annual resident cookie contest. As temps heated up, kids could be found at the pool taking part in a Hula Hoop showdown and racing in a surfboard relay with the littlest kiddos playing in the splash pad to cool down. Thank you to Amy Girouard with Jorgenson Real Estate for providing glow sticks, necklaces and glasses for the kids!

It was a wonderful day that brought to light what community is all about and we look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, December 14th for Christmas with Santa. Until then….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
