Fall Fest, October 10th, 2021

Recap

Over 200 residents gathered on Sunday afternoon to celebrate the change of seasons at West Cypress Hills’ Fall Fest. While the weather didn’t get the memo that fall was in the air, it was still a gorgeous day with a beautiful blue sky, white puffy clouds and warm temperatures. The afternoon had something for everyone including live music, fun games and most importantly great company.

With the Blevins band providing the perfect backdrop with their upbeat music and bubbles filling the air, the tone was set for fun! Kids had a great time in the Kids Zone where they took part in activities such as Bounce in the Bucket, a Hula Hoop Challenge and competed to be the last one sitting in musical chairs. Adults and older kids had a great time taking part in the kickball tournament, which took place on the basketball court.

Nabrs had a wonderful time catching up while sipping on refreshing beverages courtesy of Family Business Beer, East Austin Cider and Greenbelt Kombucha. A big thank you to the Guerra’s who showed off their delicious chili and provided a taste for all their Nabrs. To keep cool, Southern Snow was on hand serving up refreshing snow cones. The event culminated with Leo’s Dance Party where kids and adults alike had the opportunity to show off their amazing dance skills. Thank you to all who came out to make it a fantastic afternoon!

We look forward to seeing everyone at future events, until then….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
