National Night Out, October 3, 2019

Recap

Over 100 residents gathered on a warm Thursday evening to take part in National Night Out. It was a night full of fun, food, family and friends!

The special guests of the evening were first responders from the Leander police and fire departments. Kids had a blast touring the bright red fire truck while residents chatted with their local first responders. A big thank you to the police officers and fire fighters for explaining all you do to serve the residents of the Westwood NabrHood.

The excitement didn’t stop there! There was live music by Jennifer B & The Groove, fun games, National Night Out swag and a free microbrew tasting featuring 4 different types of beer by Rentsch Brewery. For those who worked up an appetite, Evil Weiner was on hand serving up their unique and flavorful hot dog creations. It was a great evening of residents catching up with Nabrs and making new friends.

Thank you to all who came out to celebrate NNO and help build community! We look forward to seeing everyone at future events, until then…

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
