Over 70 residents gathered to take part in Westwood’s National Night Out event. The event had something for everyone from live music to a visit with the local fire department to fun games. It was a wonderful way to kick off the weekend!
The Chris Bell Band provided the perfect musical backdrop as residents caught up with their Nabrs. While the calendar stated it was fall, the temps were still toasty which made the refreshing craft brews from local favorite, Rentsch Brewing, perfect to enjoy under the fading sun. Kids had a wonderful time in the Kids Zone competing in the Drop in the Bag Challenge, taking part in a Butterfly Catch, teaming up in relay races and chasing bubbles.
A big thank you to the Leander Fire Department for coming out to meet and greet with residents and providing tours of their fire engine. The event culminated in Leo’s Famous Dance Party where everyone showed off their best dance moves. Thank you to everyone who came out to make this event such a blast!
We look forward to seeing you at future events, until then……
