A little rain wasn’t going to stop the residents of Astoria Place from celebrating the holiday season. Residents gathered inside the GRASP Center where it was decorated with Christmas decor including a beautiful tree, garland and stockings. The event featured holiday activities, great company and a special visitor from the North Pole!
Kids had a wonderful time at the arts and crafts station where they wrote thank you cards and everyone enjoyed creating unique cocoa concoctions with caramel, peppermint, cinnamon and sprinkles along with Christmas cookies at the hot chocolate bar. Of course no holiday event would be complete without a special visitor from the North Pole, Santa Claus! Santa met with kiddos, hearing what they hoped for under the tree and took pictures with them and their families.
Thank you to everyone who came out to fill this event with holiday cheer! We can’t wait to see y’all in the New Year, until then…..
