National Night Out, September 30, 2018

Recap

Over 70 residents came out for their NabrHood’s National Night Out event on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. They had the opportunity to meet their local Fire Department and get a tour of an actual fire engine along with connecting with their fellow Nabrs!

There were games, food and fun to be had by all. Kids bounced to their heart's content in the bouncy house, families kicked around the soccer ball and kids and adults went head to head in a hula hoop contest with the 2 finalists, Aubrey and Leanne, showing off their superior twirling skills! With Jennifer B & The Groove providing a rocking backdrop, residents took part in relay races, tested their strategic skills in fall tic-tac-toe (played with pumpkins!) and tossed around footballs and Frisbees.

After all this fun, Nabrs lined up at the Come and Get It Chuck Wagon trailer for some delicious food. Tasty microbrews were served up from Freetail Brewing including their new fall brew, OktoberFiesta. A big thank you to the HOA, the social committee and Abraham from Spectrum Management for helping to make this a great event! We look forward to future events in the Creekside Nabrhood, until then……

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
