NNO, Tuesday, October 5th

Recap

Over 150 residents gathered at the park on a beautiful Tuesday evening to take part in Dove Crossing’s National Night Out event. It was a night full of fun, food, family and friends!

The special guests of the evening were the New Braunfels police officers who spent time chatting with Nabrs and giving tours of their police cruisers to the kiddos. A Comal County Representative was also on hand meeting with residents and handing out goodies to everyone.

With the band, Blevins, providing the perfect backdrop with their upbeat music, residents could be found relaxing and enjoying the live performance under the shade of the trees. Kids had a great time in the Kids Zone where they took part in activities such as Bounce in the Bucket, a Hula Hoop Challenge and competed to be the last one sitting in musical chairs. Adults had fun partaking in classic backyard games including cornhole, horseshoes and Chunkin’ Chicken.

For those who had worked up an appetite Los Gordos was on hand serving up their tasty fare and adults enjoyed a free Texas craft beer tasting courtesy of Freetail Brewing. The evening culminated with Leo’s Dance Party where the NabrHood kids had the opportunity to show off their amazing dance skills. Thank you to all who came out to make it a fantastic evening!

We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday, December 3rd for Christmas with Santa, until then…..

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
