Christmas Magic, Saturday, December 4th, 2021

Recap

On a warm Saturday afternoon, over 100 residents came out to kick off the holiday season in Fronterra at Westpointe. Christmas cheer was in the air as Nabrs gathered together to enjoy holiday music, take part in festive crafts and take pictures with the guest of honor, Santa Claus.

With Christmas carolers singing holiday classics, the stage was set for fun. Kids had a great time at the arts and crafts station where they wrote thank you letters to Santa, colored Christmas scenes and let their imaginations run free at the Play Doh sensory station. Residents enjoyed creating their own unique cocoa concoctions with caramel, peppermint, cinnamon and sprinkles at the hot chocolate station along with enjoying tasty holiday cookies. There was also a delicious BBQ food truck on hand for those who had worked up an appetite.

In front of a festive background, Santa took pictures with residents as they told him what they hoped for under the tree this year and he even got to read some of the thank you notes the children wrote for him. Kids also took pictures with Santa’s trusted cuddly sidekick, Cuddle Bear. It was a great way to get in the holiday spirit!

We can’t wait to see everyone in the New Year, until then….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
