National Night Out, October 2, 2019

Recap

Over 30 residents gathered on a warm Wednesday evening to take part in National Night Out. It was a night full of fun, family and friends!

The special guests of the evening were first responders from the San Antionio Police and Fire Department. Kids had a blast touring the bright red fire truck while residents chatted with their local first responders. A big thank you to the Officer Misty Hodge and the other first responders for explaining all you do to serve the members of the Hunters Pond Village Green NabrHood.

The excitement didn’t stop there! Kids took part in a Hula Hoop showdown where Makayla and Kat showed off their skills and friendly competition was on display in a Rock, Paper, Scissors battle. Residents enjoyed delicious pizza and refreshing cold drinks while catching up with their Nabrs and making new friends.

Thank you to all who came out to help build community in the NabrHood! We look forward to seeing everyone at future events, until then……

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
