The residents of Ladera gathered at the pool on Saturday afternoon to try and beat the heat. Both kids and adults stayed cool in the sparkling waters of the pool while playing fun games and catching up with Nabrs. It was the perfect way to spend a part of the weekend!
With hot hits playing in the background, bubbles filling the air and a fully decorated pool area (thanks to the Ladera HOA!), kiddos had a great time taking part in pool activities such as scavenger hunt, sharks & minnows, noodle relay races and palm tree toss along with finding their way through a huge inflatable obstacle course. After working up an appetite, everyone enjoyed hot dogs, hamburgers and snow cones. The event culminated with a fun (but messy!) watermelon eating contest where residents of all ages got into the action. The hit of the event was the door prize giveaway, sponsored by the HOA, where many residents walked away with smiles on their faces and some really awesome gifts in their hands. We loved seeing true community building in action!
