Independence Day Celebration, Saturday, July 1st, 2023

Recap

Over 250 residents came out on a toasty Saturday afternoon to celebrate the July 4th holiday. It was a wonderful event that had something for everyone from fun family activities, to tasty food to great company. It was the perfect way to spend the long holiday weekend!

The festivities kicked off with a patriotic parade around the park with residents decked out in the red, white and blue. As the parade wound down, the fun was just beginning! Kids had a blast in Leo’s Kids Zone where they took part in a water balloon toss, parachute games and the highly anticipated watermelon and pie eating contests. There was even a reptile petting zoo from Once in a Wild Zoo which featured snakes, turtles, a salamander and a scorpion - kids loved it! Residents could be found catching up with family and friends over free pizza and snow cones, with adults sipping on refreshing craft beer courtesy of Freetail Brewing Co. along with handcrafted margaritas. The hit of the event was the NabHood raffle where Nabrs had the opportunity to win gift cards to local businesses.  A big thank you to the local first responders who came out to meet, and take pictures, with residents!

We look forward to seeing you at future events , until then….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
