Christmas Parade & Magic, Saturday, December 4th, 2021

Recap

On a warm December Saturday morning, over 500 residents of Riverstone at Alamo Ranch came out to watch Santa’s Christmas Parade as it made its way through the NabrHood spreading cheer to all and to take part in the Christmas Magic party.

Mr. & Mrs. Claus, and their friend Cuddle Bear, were the guests of honor and flew all the way from the North Pole to say hello to Nabrs, bringing joy to those both young and old!! While the Blevins band played their rockin' tunes, Leo, the dancing elf, danced and handed out candy canes to those along the parade route. Thank you to the Gonzalez family, Young Miss Texas and the Bexar County Fire Department for joining in on the parade and helping to spread holiday cheer along the way.

After the parade, residents enjoyed holiday classics sung by Christmas carolers at the Christmas Magic party. Kids had a great time at the arts and crafts station where they wrote thank you letters to Santa, colored Christmas character ornaments and let their imaginations run free at the Play Doh sensory station. Residents enjoyed creating their own unique cocoa concoctions with caramel, peppermint, cinnamon and sprinkles at the hot chocolate station along with enjoying tasty holiday cookies. There were even tasty food trucks on hand for those who had worked up an appetite.

In front of a festive background, Santa took pictures with residents as they told him what they hoped for under the tree this year and he even got to read some of the thank you notes the children wrote for him. It was a great way to get in the holiday spirit. Thank you to all who came out to join in on the fun and make it a wonderful event!

We look forward to seeing you in the New Year, until then……

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
