While the Texas weather was late getting the memo, with highs in the 80s on Saturday, it's officially fall! Over 200 residents came out to celebrate the new season in the NabrHood with food, fun and friends at Fall Fest.
Kids lined up for face painting and cool balloons shaped by a balloon artist, walking away with awesome designs including cute cats, magical unicorns and more! Shoes were tossed aside while they bounced in a huge bouncy house and slide, played games in the grass and showed off their skills in a hula-hoop contest. Everyone loved the hot hits spun by DJammer, with residents taking part in a dance party that had everyone shaking their tail feather.
As dinnertime approached, residents pulled up a lounge chair near the pool or a seat at a table and enjoyed free food from Come and Get It Chuckwagon. To satiate everyone’s appetite there were delicious BBQ and hot dog combos to enjoy! Adults indulged in free strawberry margaritas and microbrews provided by Freetail Brewing and kids got their fingers sticky with free yummy cotton candy (along with some adults too!).
It was a fun filled evening where Nabrs had the chance to connect with old friends and make new ones! We look forward to future events in the NabrHood, until then…..
