4th of July Celebration, July 4, 2019

Recap

Over 300 residents came out to celebrate Independence Day on a beautiful sunny July 4th morning!

A bicycle parade, led by the San Antonio Fire Department, kicked off the festivities. Bikes were decked out with red, white and blue, participants rocked the stars and stripes from their shirts to their socks and American flags were proudly waving. Patriotism was definitely in the air!  A special thanks to Rebecca and the Team with Life at Sonoma Ranch Magazine, for helping coordinate the promotion and route of the parade.

Once the parade concluded, everyone headed back to the clubhouse to continue the fun. With July 4th themed music playing in the background, Nabrs enjoyed tasty food by Dirty Dawgs and refreshing cold drinks. Friendly competition was on display as residents (and firefighters!) took part in both a watermelon and pie-eating contest. Congratulations to Zachary and Jordan for placing first in the watermelon eating contest and Sarah for placing first in the pie-eating contest. Thank you to everyone who participated!

It was a wonderful day that brought to light what community is all about and we look forward to seeing everyone at future events in Sonoma Ranch. Until then….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
