Recap

200 residents gathered at the park on a sunny Saturday afternoon to celebrate Halloween with their Nabrs. There was no shortage of goodies, ghouls and good times to be had!

Festivities began with kiddos showing off their creative costumes in a costume parade. There were so many cool outfits on display including spooky witches, a little ladybug, a plethora of princesses and brave superheroes! As a thank you for participating, all participants received Halloween candy to enjoy. Once the parade was complete, kids took part in a variety of “spooktacular” games. There was Which Witch with the aim being to guess which witch hat the candy was hiding under, Vroom Broom Relay where they had to compete in a relay race while “riding” a broom and a fun Halloween scavenger hunt.

Once everyone had expended their energy playing games and running around on the playground there was free food and drinks to dig into. Piping hot pizza was served up followed by a dessert station with cookies and cupcakes made by the residents! Freetail Brewery provided free fall brews for adults to enjoy and a special Halloween cocktail, "Spooky Juice" was available to try. Water, juice boxes and soda were on hand to quench people’s thirst as well.

It was an afternoon full of Halloween festivities, delicious food, fun games and great conversation! We look forward to future events in the NabrHood, until then….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
