Christmas Magic, December 6, 2019

With a chill in the air and the twinkling of Christmas lights, the holiday season has officially arrived! Over 150 residents gathered to welcome in the festive season with their Nabrs, enjoy holiday crafts and take pictures with the guest of honor, Santa Claus.

There were a number of fun activities to participate in including writing thank you letters to leave with their milk and cookies for Santa, a cookie “baking” station where kiddos created festive cookies from Play-Doh and even a bit of Christmas karaoke where Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas” was a huge hit. Residents had a great time creating their own unique cocoa concoctions with caramel, peppermint, cinnamon and sprinkles at the hot chocolate station along with enjoying tasty holiday cookies. Nabrs had the opportunity to take pictures with Santa in front of a festive backdrop and tell him what they hoped for under the tree this year including trains, an Xbox and even an elephant. A big thank you to the local first responders who made an appearance, it was greatly appreciated!

It was a great way to get in the holiday spirit and we look forward to seeing everyone in the new year, until then…….
