National Night Out, October 5, 2019

Over 100 residents braved the heat and gathered on a hot Saturday evening to take part in NabrHood Night Out. It was an evening full of fun, food, family and friends!

The Jimmy Spacek Trio set the tone for a good time with their jam-band feel music. There was so much for residents to do including a marshmallow toss won by Team Nate, one handed catch where Tommy and Maddie proved their catching prowess, a saucer toss challenge that had Team Rayden beating out Team Luke and an ice cream cone relay where Team Goats were crowned champs over Team Candy. The great engineering minds of the NabrHood were on display in the tower building challenge including Anna and Abi who took home the winning trophies – thank you to Lyle, Nyla and Tommy for helping to keep score!

Adults cooled down with a refreshing microbrew tasting featuring San Antonio’s own Freetail Brewing. Everyone enjoyed free pizza and cold drinks while finding respite in the shade and catching up with the Nabrs. Thank you to everyone who spent a beautiful Saturday building community in their NabrHood!
