Recap

This past Saturday Santa flew in from the North Pole for a much needed break from the cold winter temps and joined the Wildhorse NabrHood for some warm weather and sunny skies. Over 100 residents came out to meet Santa and his elf, enjoy some delicious cookies and hot chocolate and spend some time catching up with their Nabrs.

With holiday hits playing in background, a feeling of merriment was in the air. Kids, adults and even their furry friends lined up to meet the man himself, Mr. Claus! Kids confided their holiday wish lists and photos were taken with Santa in front of a picturesque setting of presents piled under a Christmas tree and stockings hung by the fire. Whether it was a baby's first time seeing Santa or an adult's 50th time, everyone had a smile on their face!

After meeting the guest of honor, residents could be found at the marshmallow bar where they worked on crafting the perfect ratio of hot cocoa to marshmallows and enjoyed festively decorated cookies. At the craft station, kids had the chance to create beaded candy canes and decorations to hang on their Christmas tree at home. It was the perfect day to make some holiday memories!

It was a great event to kick off the holiday festivities and we can’t wait to see everyone in the New Year! Until then…..

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
