Over 200 Nabrs came out on a steamy Saturday afternoon to enjoy the final Pool Party of the summer and boy was it fun! While the official kickoff was scheduled for 4 pm, we couldn’t wait to crank up the fun and got the party started 30 minutes early. One of our special guest Nabrs, Amy, posted a live feed of all the NabrHood festivities on Facebook bringing out even more Nabrs.
With football season just around the corner, kids kicked off the pool activities with the Odell Beckham trick catch challenge with some spectacular catches being made, followed by sharks & minnows, a hula-hoop contest, put a ring on it and a treasure dive. The girls whipped the boys in all the games but the boys were the first to lead the dance party! A huge shout out to our kid’s special guest Nabr, Joseph, as he got the dance party started by leading the Conga line. After working up an appetite with dancing and playing in the pool, everyone enjoyed free pizza and soda.
DJ Myles & MC Will, from HelloNabr, kept the fun hoppin’ by spinning hot music with kids boogieing to the beats. The rest of the HelloNabr team, DJ MLo, Cat & Courtney, kept everyone fed, hydrated and joined in on the dancing, fun and games. A big thank you to Stephanie, with the HOA social committee, and the rest of the Wildhorse HOA for hosting another great Community event.
We look forward to seeing everyone next month for National Night Out on October 6th from 4p – 6p. But in the meantime, just remember….
