Over 60 residents came out to kick off the Halloween celebrations at their NabrHood Boo Bash on Friday evening. With hauntingly good music, Halloween treats and bewitching games, everything was set for a “spooktacular” time!
Playing in the background was a big screen with music videos to get everyone in the Halloween spirit. It was the perfect mood music for the costume parade where kids got to show off their creative, spooky and cute costumes. Afterwards, the fun continued with games including Which Witch where kids had to guess under which witch hat the candy was hiding and a Vroom Broom Relay that tested their balancing skills as they raced around while “riding” brooms.
A Halloween celebration isn’t complete without sugar and there was plenty to be had! Everyone enjoyed candy, popcorn and soda (with water available as well!). The night ended with a Thriller dance party complete with laser lights and eerie fog rolling across the ground. It was a fantastic way to start of the weekend! We look forward future events in the NabrHood, until then….
